Our first winter school-holiday camp ran in July 2025. It opened, as every camp since has opened, with a safety checklist — because we had decided that children would be using real tools rather than pretend ones.

On 1 July 2025 we delivered the first sheenbot workshop outside our own building — a full computer lab, mixed ages, laser-cut smart houses on the desks, and every problem that comes with running your kit on someone else's machines.

In June 2025 a group of learners from Sans Souci Girls' High School became the first school excursion to visit Sheen Academy — and the first real test of whether our classroom worked for a group that had not chosen to be there.

On 15 March 2025 Sheen Academy opened in Century City with three class levels, a banner on the lawn and no students yet. Within six months, more than 120 learners were coming through the door every week.
