Description
The Hiwonder JetMax is an open-source AI robotic arm powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, designed to help users master robot vision, image processing, and kinematics. It is an ideal learning platform for students, educators, and makers looking to explore ROS and Python programming through hands-on AI projects.
NVIDIA Jetson Nano integration
Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, this robotic arm features an HD wide-angle camera and smart bus servos. It runs on ROS and supports Python programming, making it ideal for mastering robot vision and kinematics.

Interchangeable end of arm tools
The robotic arm can be fitted with various end-of-arm tools including air pump suction nozzles, grippers, electromagnetic suction cups, and pen holders. This adaptability allows you to customise the arm for diverse AI application scenarios.

Precision smart bus servos
Equipped with three precision smart serial bus servos, the arm delivers high accuracy and supports heavy payloads. It utilises a trajectory planning algorithm to ensure precise movement along your programmed path.

Adjustable camera perspectives
The end-of-arm HD camera supports both vertical and horizontal installation. This hand-eye integration gives the robot both top-down and head-on perspectives to suit different visual tasks.

Durable anodised metal construction
The chassis is constructed from robust anodised metal brackets for long-lasting durability. Additionally, the controller is housed in a sturdy metal shell to protect the internal electronics.

Deep learning and model training
Harnessing advanced neural networks like GoogLeNet and YOLO, the system supports deep learning and model training. It can recognise objects such as waste items, alphabet cards, and numbers to perform complex sorting and calculation tasks.

Visual sorting and spelling
The robot arm can quickly identify and sort waste cards into designated classification zones. It also recognises letters to spell custom words and identifies mathematical symbols to solve calculations.
