The Hiwonder AiNova standard kit is an advanced AI-powered educational robot car designed for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to explore artificial intelligence. Powered by an ESP32-based CoreX controller and the WonderCam AI vision module, it supports both beginner-friendly graphical Scratch programming and advanced Python coding. This versatile platform allows users to dive into real-world applications like autonomous driving, line following, and object tracking.
Advanced educational robot platform
The robot integrates a CoreX controller, high-precision encoder motors, a 4-channel line follower, and a glowing ultrasonic sensor into a compact metal chassis. This standard version includes the WonderCam vision module to support complex AI projects like autonomous driving.

WonderCam AI vision module
Featuring a Kendryte K210 processor and a 2-megapixel camera, the WonderCam handles facial recognition, image classification, and tag tracking. It displays feedback on a built-in 2.0-inch IPS screen and communicates with the controller via an I2C port.

High-performance hardware configuration
The chassis is built with a durable metal bracket and high-traction silicone tyres, powered by a 1200mAh 18650 lithium battery. High-precision encoder motors detect speed in real time, enabling accurate path planning and smooth movement.

Interactive AI vision capabilities
The user-friendly vision interface makes it simple for beginners to implement intelligent navigation, smart tracking, and interactive AI. A protective metal shell safeguards the camera module without blocking its mounting holes or assembly.

Autonomous driving simulation
Using the WonderCam and Scratch programming, the robot can recognise traffic lights and road signs to simulate smart traffic scenarios. An integrated MP3 module allows the car to play voice broadcasts, creating a realistic driverless experience.

Glowy ultrasonic obstacle avoidance
A luminous ultrasonic sensor provides distance measurement from 2cm up to 400cm, helping the robot detect and avoid obstacles. The glowing sensor adds visual feedback to your ranging and navigation code.

Multi-scenario expansion possibilities
With reserved electronic interfaces and Lego-compatible mounting holes, the robot can easily integrate with extra sensors and structural parts. This allows you to expand your learning experience with autonomous driving accessories and transport tools.
