Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every purchase made through sheen store. They sit alongside our Return & Refund Policy, Delivery Information and Privacy Policy.

1. Who you are buying from

Goods sold through sheen store are sold by Sheen Technologies (Pty) Ltd t/a Sheen Robotics, a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2024/133334/07), VAT number 4140322167, trading from Unit D1, The Exchange, 1 School St, Milnerton, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7441, South Africa.

2. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A sale contract only comes into existence once we have accepted your order and confirmed it by email. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error — we will tell you and refund you in full, without charge.

3. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Product pages also show the ex-VAT amount. Delivery is charged separately and is shown before you pay — see Delivery Information. The price that applies is the one displayed at checkout when you pay.

4. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, Bank transfer (EFT). Card and instant EFT payments are processed by PayFast, a registered South African payment provider — we never see or store your card details. Orders paid by manual bank transfer are only released once the funds reflect in our account.

This site is served entirely over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate, and payment details are entered on the payment provider's own secure page.

5. Delivery and risk

We deliver throughout South Africa by courier. In-stock items are processed within 1–3 business days; lead-time items ship once they reach our warehouse, and the expected lead time is shown on the product page and in your cart. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full detail, including shipping costs, is on the Delivery Information page.

6. Cancellation, returns and refunds

As an online sale, you may cancel within 7 days of delivery under section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and we offer our own 15-day return window on unused items in addition to that. Faulty goods are covered for 6 months under section 56 of the Act. The full procedure, the returns address and refund timelines are set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

7. Warranty

Goods carry the statutory 6-month implied warranty of quality under the Consumer Protection Act. Some products carry a longer manufacturer warranty; where they do, it is stated on the product page. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or normal wear of consumable parts.

8. Product information

We take care to describe products and show images accurately. Photographs are illustrative and colours may vary slightly between screens. If what arrives does not match its description, you may return it at our cost for a full refund.

9. Your personal information

We process your personal information in line with POPIA and our Privacy Policy. We use it to fulfil your order and support you afterwards, and we do not sell it.

10. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first at info@sheen.bot — we aim to resolve complaints within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve it together, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission. These terms are governed by South African law.
