Description
The Stereo Bluetooth Amplifier Board is a compact digital audio amplifier module designed to drive dual stereo speakers ranging from 40W to 200W. It connects effortlessly with Raspberry Pi boards and mobile phones, making it an excellent choice for student builds, DIY sound systems, and maker audio projects.
Dual-channel stereo output
This module delivers clear two-channel sound with built-in volume adjustment, capable of driving output configurations up to 40W per channel into 8Ω speakers at 24V. It is compatible with high-power speakers rated between 40W and 200W.
Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity
Featuring Bluetooth 5.0, the module supports reliable wireless streaming at line-of-sight distances of up to 15 metres. It pairs under the device name XY-P40W and provides audible status tones alongside LED indicator feedback for pairing and playback states.
Power supply and speaker matching
The module requires a 5V to 24V DC power supply with a recommended minimum current rating of 2A. Input voltage must not exceed 16V when driving 4Ω speakers, or 24V when driving 8Ω speakers, ensuring stable audio without exceeding safe operating limits.
Integrated protection and handling precautions
Built-in protection safeguards the board against short circuits and power supply reverse connections. The sensitive Bluetooth chip requires standard anti-static handling during installation, and speaker wire lengths should be kept within one metre.
