Description
The SIM8262E-M2 is a 5G wireless communication module in an M.2 B KEY form factor, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 modem. It provides high-speed 5G NR NSA/SA, LTE, WCDMA, and multi-constellation GNSS positioning for industrial IoT, embedded systems, and robotics applications. This module is ideal for makers, engineers, and educators developing high-throughput connected solutions across Europe, Australia, and Japan.
High-speed multi-mode 5G connectivity
Compliant with 3GPP R16NR specifications, the module delivers download rates of up to 3.0Gbps on 5G NSA and 2.0Gbps on SA networks. It also provides comprehensive fallback to LTE and WCDMA networks for reliable mobile broadband.

Standard M.2 B KEY integration
Constructed from a SIM8262E module and an M.2 adapter board, this compact board fits standard M.2 slots for easy hardware integration. It supports major operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Android, and is configurable via standard AT commands.

Broad industrial interface support
The module exposes high-speed interfaces including USB 3.1 Gen2, one-lane PCIe Gen 4, I2C, and dual (U)SIM single-standby connectivity. It also features four IPEX4 antenna connectors for cellular and GNSS signals.

Integrated multi-constellation GNSS positioning
Built-in dual-band L1+L5 GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS for accurate real-time tracking. It also features integrated network protocols alongside FOTA, TLS, and LBS location services.

Engineered for advanced IoT deployments
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the module is suited for demanding deployments such as 4K/8K video transmission, smart city infrastructure, healthcare telemetry, and 5G customer premises equipment (CPE).
