Description
The SIM8262A-M2 is a 3GPP Release 16 compliant 5G wireless communication module powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 platform. Designed with an M.2 B KEY form factor, it delivers downlink speeds up to 3.0Gbps alongside multi-constellation GNSS positioning. It is ideal for developers and engineers building high-bandwidth IoT solutions, smart city infrastructure, and mobile networking equipment.
Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 5G performance
Compliant with 3GPP R16 standards, this module supports both 5G NR standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes with downlink data rates up to 3.0Gbps. It also provides comprehensive backwards compatibility with LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, and WCDMA networks.

Standard M.2 B KEY form factor
Featuring an M.2 B KEY interface with compact 42.0 x 30.0 x 2.3 mm dimensions, the module allows straightforward mechanical integration into carrier boards and industrial systems. It includes IPEX4 antenna connectors for cellular and GNSS signals.

High-accuracy dual-band GNSS
The module integrates dual-band L1 and L5 satellite positioning supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS. This delivers accurate location tracking alongside high-speed cellular communication.

High-speed industrial interfaces
Equipped for demanding host interfaces, it provides USB 3.1 Gen2 up to 10Gbps, one-lane PCIe 4.0 up to 16Gbps, dual USIM card support, I2C, and digital audio. Operating across industrial temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, it ensures reliable deployment in harsh environments.

Broad operating system and protocol support
The module provides native driver support for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems, along with full AT command control. Built-in network protocols include TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, FTP, HTTPS, and MQTTS with support for FOTA updates and secure TLS connections.
