Description
The SIM7070G is a versatile, globally compatible communication module featuring multi-band NB-IoT, LTE Cat-M1, and 2G connectivity alongside multi-constellation GNSS positioning. It is an ideal solution for students, makers, and engineers building low-power asset tracking, agricultural telemetry, and smart city infrastructure.
Comprehensive global network compatibility
The module provides extensive frequency band support across NB-IoT, LTE Cat-M1, and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks. This broad compatibility ensures dependable cellular connectivity for international IoT deployments across multiple carrier standards.

Multi-constellation GNSS positioning
Integrated satellite navigation supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo systems using standard NMEA protocol outputs. This delivers precise real-time geographic data for logistics tracking, mobile environmental monitors, and fleet management projects.

Built-in protocols and AT commands
A comprehensive AT command set provides native handling for common IoT protocols including MQTT, HTTP, FTP, CoAP, and NIDD. This streamlines microcontroller programming by managing low-level network stacks directly on the module.
Flexible UART and USB connectivity
The board features a Gravity PH2.0-4P UART port with 3.3V to 5V logic support alongside a USB 2.0 Type-C interface for easy connection to microcontrollers, single-board computers, and PCs. The UART interface accommodates baud rates ranging from 300bps up to 3686400bps.

Low-power battery-friendly operation
Designed for energy efficiency, the module draws approximately 14mA in low-power mode from a 3.3V to 5V power supply. This makes it well-suited for long-term remote field nodes and off-grid battery installations.
Complete hardware package and interface specs
Measuring 49mm by 42mm, the board features dual IPEX1 antenna connectors and a 1.8V SIM card slot. It comes supplied with a GSM spring antenna, an internal GPS antenna, and a Gravity 4-pin wiring cable.
