Description
The Self-powered Wireless Switch (433MHz) is a battery-free push-button transmitter that converts the kinetic energy of physical presses into electrical power to send wireless signals. It is ideal for makers, hobbyists, and students building wireless doorbells, pagers, wall controls, or maintenance-free interactive installations.
Kinetic energy harvesting mechanism
An integrated micro-generator uses electromagnetic induction to convert the mechanical force of each press into 600uJ of electrical energy. This harvested power is rectified and stored by the onboard radio frequency circuit to transmit signals without ever needing batteries.
Receiver compatibility and range
The switch broadcasts at 433MHz with a 13dBm output power using OOK modulation and EV1527 encoding at 10kbps. It achieves a stable indoor transmission range of up to 40 metres when paired with an EV1527-compatible receiver, such as the Gravity Digital Wireless Switch Receiver.

Integrated 4-position DIP switch
An onboard 4-position DIP switch enables 15 adjustable states alongside one million sets of random address codes. This allows multiple wireless switch units to be deployed in the same installation without channel conflicts.
Mechanical specifications and operating limits
The mechanism has a 2.6mm action distance, automatic rebound, and a rated lifespan of 100,000 presses with a typical actuation force of 1800g. Actuations must be kept to 4 presses per second or fewer to avoid excessive energy buildup in the circuitry.
Compact home and automation applications
Measuring 47 x 25 x 11mm, the compact module operates as a wire-free, maintenance-free trigger for long-term state sensing. It is well suited for wireless doorbells, service pagers, food ordering systems, and wall-mounted remote controllers.
