Multi USB / RS232 / RS485 / TTL Converter

The Multi USB / RS232 / RS485 / TTL Converter is an all-in-one multiplexer board designed for universal serial communication. It enables makers, students, and engineers to bridge signals seamlessly between USB, TTL, RS232, and RS485 protocols. Its support for single-input, multi-output routing makes it ideal for interconnecting different microcontrollers and industrial devices.

Multi-protocol serial conversion

The board supports flexible conversion between USB, TTL, RS232, and RS485 interfaces. Supported communication modes include USB to TTL, USB to RS485, USB to RS232, RS232 to TTL, RS232 to RS485, and RS485 to TTL.

One-to-many signal broadcasting

The multiplexer allows a single input signal to be distributed simultaneously to multiple outputs. In this setup, an incoming USB transmission can be converted to TTL, RS232, and RS485 outputs at the same time.

Dual interface routing architecture

The multiplexer board is structured into interface groups A and B, with signal conversion occurring strictly between these groups. While a single interface cannot convert internally and supports only one sender, it accommodates multiple receivers.

Supply voltage and status LED

The converter operates reliably across a supply voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. An onboard power LED provides immediate visual indication of operational power.

Compact board dimensions

With a physical footprint measuring 52 x 37 mm (2.05 x 1.45 inches), the unit integrates easily into test rigs, lab setups, and compact embedded enclosures.
