Description
The LoRa MESH Radio Module (868MHz) is a low-power, long-range wireless transceiver equipped with embedded distributed ad-hoc mesh networking protocols. It enables reliable multi-node communication over wide areas without requiring complex protocol development or network configuration. It is an ideal wireless solution for makers, educators, and engineers building IoT sensor networks and remote telemetry systems.
Embedded ad-hoc mesh networking
The module features built-in wireless MESH MANET protocols that handle routing automatically without requiring secondary development or custom stack programming. It supports node-to-node communication across open-ground distances of 1.5 km to 2.5 km with multiple handshake confirmations for reliable delivery.
High sensitivity RF performance
Powered by the SX1276 transceiver operating at 868MHz, the module delivers receive sensitivity down to -148dBm and up to +20dBm (100mW) output power adjustable across seven levels. Integrated forward error correction coding and frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology ensure strong anti-interference performance and low error rates.
Versatile operating modes and serial control
Communication takes place via a standard TTL UART interface supporting baud rates from 1200 to 115200 bps (9600 bps default). The module supports transparent serial transmission, API mode, and AT command mode, allowing simple parameter configuration via PC software or microcontrollers.
Low-power modes and wake-up features
Operating from 3.3V to 5.0V with a standby current under 20mA, the module supports both serial wake and air wake via an AUX signal to wake connected host devices. Preamble Channel Activity Detection (CAD) prevents accidental wake-up, while an integrated watchdog ensures long-term operational stability.
Complete dual-node hardware kit
The package includes two 868MHz LoRa MESH modules and two 868MHz antennas with 2m SMA-male connectors. Each compact module measures 34.2 x 18.4 mm and features a standard 2.54mm pin header for breadboard compatibility and embedded installations.
