Description
The JX-660T LoRa Radio Module is a long-range wireless data transceiver based on the Semtech SX1262, operating in the 380-450MHz band. It provides robust point-to-point and star network communication via a standard UART interface without complex host encoding. This dual-module kit is ideal for makers, students, and engineers developing low-power remote telemetry and wide-area monitoring systems.
Upgraded Semtech SX1262 architecture
Powered by the SX1262 chip, this module delivers up to 22dBm transmit power with seven adjustable levels and -138dBm receiver sensitivity across 380-450MHz. LoRa spread spectrum modulation provides high bandwidth efficiency and strong anti-blocking performance for dependable long-range links.
Flexible transparent and star networking
The module operates as a transparent serial modem or within a multi-node star network using a proprietary protocol between a central module and peripheral nodes. It incorporates channel activity detection collision avoidance, power-saving passthrough, and hexadecimal addressing.
Ultra-low power and instant wakeup
Operating across a wide 2.1V to 5.5V supply range, the module consumes under 2.0µA in sleep mode and less than 12mA during reception. An active-low PA3 pin provides instant hardware wake-up to ensure responsive operation in battery-powered field applications.
High-throughput UART data transfer
The TTL serial interface supports baud rates from 1200bps up to 115200bps with configurable parity settings. It accommodates large data packets up to 1KB in normal mode, simplifying data transmission from microcontrollers and sensors.
Dual module and antenna kit
The kit includes two JX-660T LoRa radio modules alongside two external antennas featuring 2-metre cables and SMA-male connectors. This provides a complete hardware pairing ready for instant prototyping and field deployment.
