HUSKYLENS 2 WiFi Module (Wireless AI Vision & AIoT)

The HUSKYLENS 2 WiFi Module is a plug-and-play USB expansion accessory that equips the HUSKYLENS 2 AI vision sensor with high-speed Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It turns the wired vision sensor into a wireless node, enabling remote video streaming, direct Large Language Model integration, and AIoT project development. This module is ideal for robotics enthusiasts, educators, makers, and students building wireless AI applications.

High-speed Wi-Fi 6 connectivity

The module integrates the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 standard with up to 286.8Mbps maximum transfer rates and 20/40 MHz bandwidth support. It delivers enhanced network efficiency, low latency, and robust data throughput with comprehensive WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption protocols.

Real-time wireless image transmission

Upgrading the standard wired USB feed to a wireless stream lets you view live video, capture images, and extract recognition data from a remote terminal. This eliminates cable clutter, making it practical for classroom demonstrations, robotics, and remote project debugging.

Simplified model management and OTA updates

Deploy new AI models directly from Model Plaza by scanning a QR code without needing a wired computer connection. The module also supports Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates, which are handled directly through standard HUSKYLENS 2 firmware releases.

Perceptual front-end for LLM integration

Operating as a Master Control Program (MCP) server, the module allows the sensor to transmit real-time visual recognition results straight to Large Language Models. This capability expands the model's ability to interpret and interact with physical environments.

Wireless AIoT and MQTT communication

Upcoming firmware releases enable the unit to operate as an MQTT server for wireless communication with development platforms like ESP32 and UNIHIKER. This enables efficient machine-to-machine data exchange for distributed AIoT systems.
