Description
The Gravity LoRaWAN Node Module (US915) is a compact, low-power wireless transceiver powered by the Semtech SX1262 chip. Designed for students, educators, and makers, it provides dependable long-range connectivity for agricultural sensing and remote environmental monitoring projects.
Dual LoRa and LoRaWAN networking
The module operates in both LoRa point-to-point modes (supporting one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and bridge transmission) and LoRaWAN Class A and Class C modes. This enables straightforward direct module communication as well as seamless cloud integration through platforms like TTN and ChirpStack.
Long-range wireless coverage
Built for outdoor deployments, the module achieves transmission distances of up to 1.5 km in urban environments and up to 4.5 km in open terrain. With a maximum transmit power of +22 dBm and -137 dBm receiver sensitivity, it offers robust data links where Wi-Fi or cellular networks are impractical.
Broad platform compatibility
An integrated protocol stack removes the need for low-level firmware development, allowing fast integration via standard I2C or UART interfaces. It works with 3.3V and 5V logic levels across micro:bit, Arduino, and ESP32 controllers, with software support for Arduino IDE, Mind+, and MakeCode.
Modular LoRaWAN ecosystem
This node forms part of a complete LPWAN lineup designed for simplified testing and deployment. It operates seamlessly alongside dedicated local gateways, multi-interface control terminals, and Arduino-compatible development boards.

Versatile remote sensing applications
With low power consumption and kilometer-scale range, the node is well-suited for farm telemetry, greenhouse climate monitoring, beehive tracking, ecological data collection, and standalone weather stations.
Compact hardware specifications
The board measures 42 × 62 mm, weighs 10 g, and accepts an operating voltage range from 3.3V to 5V DC. It connects via a PH2.0-4P interface and includes 3.0 mm mounting holes spaced 35 mm apart for easy installation.
