Gravity: I2C HUB

The Gravity: I2C HUB is an expansion board designed to connect up to eight I2C devices to a single main controller. It is ideal for students, educators, and makers looking to simplify wiring across complex multi-sensor robotics and electronics projects.

Eight-port I2C bus expansion

The hub connects up to eight I2C devices to your main controller simultaneously. This allows you to scale up peripherals in your project without running out of dedicated bus ports.

Flexible peripheral connection options

You can connect standard Gravity devices using Gravity-4P I2C/UART sensor cables. The board also accommodates third-party breakout modules using jumper wires.

Compact and lightweight design

With PCB dimensions of 37mm by 27mm and a weight of 17g, the hub occupies minimal space. It integrates easily into compact robotic chassis and sensor enclosures.

Standardised mounting dimensions

The module includes 3.1mm diameter mounting holes spaced 30mm by 20mm apart. This provides secure mechanical attachment to project frames and custom housings.

Included sensor connecting cable

Each unit comes supplied with one Gravity-4P I2C/UART sensor cable alongside the hub board. This provides immediate connectivity to your main controller.
