Gravity: Digital IR Receiver Module

The Gravity: Digital IR Receiver Module enables Arduino projects to receive wireless commands from standard infrared remote controllers. It is an ideal addition for students, makers, and hobbyists building remote-controlled robotics and interactive devices.

Standard IR remote reception

This receiver module allows your microcontroller project to process control inputs sent from any standard infrared remote controller. It provides a simple and reliable method for adding wireless control to your creations.

38 kHz modulation frequency

The module operates at a 38 kHz modulation frequency to match the standard carrier frequency of consumer infrared remotes. This ensures broad compatibility with widely available remote control hardware.

Standard 5V digital interface

Running on a 5V power supply, the sensor provides a digital interface that links directly to microcontroller input pins. Its Gravity-compatible pinout simplifies wiring and prototyping.

Custom remote system design

In addition to off-the-shelf remotes, this module can be paired with an IR transmitter to build custom infrared controller systems. This lets you establish targeted wireless communication between two microcontrollers.

Included connection cable

Each pack includes one Arduino-compatible digital IR receiver module alongside a digital sensor cable. This provides the necessary hardware to connect the board straight out of the box.
