Description
The Gravity: Air780EU 4G CAT1 IoT Communication Module provides cellular connectivity across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Thailand. Operating on LTE-FDD bands with speeds up to 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink, it is well suited for makers, educators, and engineers building remote IoT systems.
Regional LTE frequency coverage
The module operates across LTE-FDD bands B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, and B28 in EMEA regions and Thailand. It achieves maximum transmission speeds of up to 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink for reliable remote telemetry.
Integrated network protocols and AT commands
Essential protocols including TCP, UDP, PPP, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT, NTP, NITZ, and NDIS are integrated directly into the firmware. Communication is managed via standard AT commands over a standard serial interface, simplifying software development.
Low-power sleep and wake modes
Sleep mode draws as little as 0.6mA, with support for both UART serial data wake-up and periodic interrupt wake-up. Transmitting data every five minutes allows a 500mA battery to last up to 26 days in PRO mode and 36 days in STD mode.
Driver-free USB network card support
Featuring an onboard Type-C port, the module acts as a driver-free USB network card on PC, Raspberry Pi, and LattePanda systems. This provides instant plug-and-play cellular network connectivity for single-board computers and industrial PCs.

LattePanda and single-board computer integration
Direct connection to development boards like the LattePanda 3 Delta is streamlined using standard UART and USB interfaces. The module accepts 5V to 12V via its terminal block for long-term field stability and supports both 3.3V and 5V logic levels.

Compact layout and hardware interfaces
The board features a Nano SIM slot, an SMA female connector, and a Gravity PH2.0-4P UART port on a 42mm by 37mm PCB. It comes bundled with a 50mm 4G elbow rubber stick antenna and operates reliably from -40°C to 85°C.
