GPS + BDS BeiDou Dual Module

The GPS + BDS BeiDou Dual Module is an ultra-compact navigation board powered by the AT6558 multi-mode positioning chip. Capable of receiving concurrent signals from multiple satellite constellations, it is ideal for students, makers, and engineers building robotics, vehicle tracking systems, and wearable devices.

Multi-constellation satellite reception

Powered by the AT6558 chip with 32 tracking channels, this module receives concurrent signals from BDS, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and SBAS. It also supports A-GNSS to provide fast, reliable joint positioning, navigation, and timing.

Broad microcontroller compatibility

Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply range, the board communicates via standard serial output with controllers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and STM32. Its low power consumption of approximately 0.1W ensures continuous operation on compact battery supplies.

Compact form factor for robotics

Measuring just 13.1 x 15.7mm, the module fits easily into space-constrained projects including drones, smart cars, and handheld hardware. It can also serve as a direct functional replacement for Ublox MAX series modules.

Rapid fix and onboard memory

An onboard XH414 rechargeable battery speeds up hot starts and satellite searches, while onboard E2PROM saves configuration settings across power cycles. It delivers a 2.5m open-field positioning accuracy with -162dBm tracking sensitivity.

Flexible antenna integration and protection

The module is equipped with both SMA and IPEX antenna connectors for versatile installation options. Built-in safety circuitry provides active antenna detection and protection against antenna short circuits.
