Upgraded W5100S controller

Hardware version V3.0 upgrades the core chip to the WizNet W5100S, delivering lower power consumption, reduced operating heat, and higher performance.

Hardwired TCP/IP network stack

The integrated hardware stack includes MAC and PHY layers alongside support for auto-negotiation. It handles four independent hardware sockets simultaneously with 16KB of internal TX and RX memory buffers for packet processing.

Arduino and Mega compatibility

The expansion board plugs directly onto Arduino UNO and Mega series boards. The host microcontroller communicates with both the W5100S chip and the onboard SD card over the SPI interface using the ICSP pins.

Operating specifications

The board operates at 5V with an industrial-grade operating temperature range of -40 deg C to 85 deg C. Its physical footprint measures 70 x 55 x 30 mm.
