Dagu Heavy Duty Servo Shield for Spider Controller (RS012A)

The Dagu RS012A Heavy Duty Servo Shield is a dedicated expansion board that allows you to power up to 48 high-powered servos directly from an external power source or battery. It is designed for robotics enthusiasts, makers, and students building complex multi-servo or multi-legged robots. The shield mounts neatly without obstructing essential controller pins or controls.

High-current servo power

This shield lets you connect larger, high-powered servos directly to a battery or external power supply via a heavy-duty screw terminal. It can deliver power to manage up to 48 servos simultaneously.

Prototyping and accessible design

The PCB layout is designed so it does not block access to the Spider controller pins or the reset button. It also includes a small built-in prototyping area to accommodate additional circuitry, such as an amplifier for analogue signals.

Compatibility and contents

Each unit is supplied pre-assembled and tested in an anti-static bag, complete with additional mounting posts to fit the Wild Thumper chassis. Please note that a Spider controller is required for operation and is sold separately.
