8-Channel Isolated Analog Data Acquisition Module

The 8-Channel Isolated Analog Data Acquisition Module is an industrial-grade 12-bit acquisition unit designed for reliable multi-sensor monitoring. Communicating over isolated RS485 via Modbus RTU, it is ideal for engineering students, makers, and automation developers integrating sensors with PLCs, industrial PCs, and SCADA systems.

Multi-range analog input channels

The module features eight single-ended 12-bit channels with an accuracy of up to ±1‰. Each channel can measure voltage and current simultaneously, supporting 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-2.5V, 0-20mA, and 4-20mA ranges at a total sampling rate of up to 1400 sps.

Versatile sensor wiring support

Every channel can have its acquisition range configured independently to match your specific instrumentation. In addition to standard 4-wire devices, the board natively supports 2-wire and 3-wire sensor wiring.

Comprehensive electrical isolation

Optoelectronic communication isolation and input-output isolation rated to 1500VDC prevent electrical interference and protect host equipment from high-voltage surges. An onboard software watchdog maintains system stability during continuous operation.

Modbus RTU over RS485

Built for industrial networking, the module uses standard Modbus RTU over an isolated RS485 interface with baud rates from 1200 to 115200 bps. This enables straightforward integration with PLCs, SCADA configuration software, IPCs, and OPC servers.

Wide-range power supply protection

The unit operates on a wide 12V to 30V DC supply with built-in reverse-polarity protection and a low 0.5W rated power consumption at 24V DC. It is engineered for harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.
