Designed for autonomous robotics
Developed specifically for the smart robot chassis market, the MD36 and MD36L series are ideal for high-precision scientific research, autonomous driving, and unmanned ground vehicles. They feature fast response times, low noise, excellent consistency, and high linearity at low speeds.

Detailed performance specifications
Choose between the 24V 60W MD36L (available in P5.18 and P27 reduction ratios) and the 12V 35W MD36 P27. The MD36L P27 offers a rated torque of 10 kg.cm and a stall torque of at least 64 kg.cm, while the MD36 P27 provides 10 kg.cm rated torque and a 44.5 kg.cm minimum stall torque.

Optimised power and load capacity
The MD36L motor delivers larger torque and less speed attenuation under load compared to the MD36, ensuring stronger load-carrying capabilities. For optimal performance, the 24V models should be powered within a 21-26V range, while the 12V models perform best between 9-14V.

High power-to-volume ratio
The MD36L planetary gear motor packs high power into a compact volume. It is available in both Hall encoder and GMR (Giant Magnetoresistance) encoder variants to suit different control requirements.

Versatile encoder options
The 12V MD36 model is also offered with either a Hall encoder or a GMR encoder. The GMR encoder provides 500 ppr (pulses per revolution) for high-precision feedback, while the 13 ppr Hall encoder offers robust magnetic induction compatible with almost all microcontrollers.
