Description
The WHEELTEC ROS High-Precision IMU Inertial Navigation Module is a high-performance 9-axis attitude sensor designed for advanced robotics projects. Compatible with both ROS 1 and ROS 2, it is ideal for students, educators, and makers working on autonomous navigation and mobile robot chassis. With an output frequency of 200Hz, this module provides reliable, real-time orientation data for precise control.
Multiple hardware form factors
The module is available in three distinct physical configurations to suit different project needs: the bare-board H30 without an enclosure, the standard H30 with a protective metal enclosure, and the ultra-compact H30 MINI with a metal enclosure. All versions support both ROS 1 and ROS 2, outputting high-precision attitude data at a frequency of 200Hz.

Industrial-grade waterproof protection
For demanding outdoor environments, the H30WP variant features an industrial-grade waterproof metal enclosure equipped with a secure aviation-grade waterproof connector. Additionally, the ultra-compact H30 MINI metal enclosure design is officially patented as a utility model in China.

Comprehensive physical and electrical specifications
This nine-axis module operates across a wide temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius and supports serial command configurations for calibration, mode switching, and setup. Power consumption ranges from 165mW for the standard H30 up to 210mW for the waterproof H30WP, with input voltages supporting 4.5V to 5.2V DC for the H30 and MINI variants, and 5V to 26V for the H30WP.

High-precision sensor and navigation performance
The integrated nine-axis sensor features an accelerometer with a plus-minus 16g range, a gyroscope with a plus-minus 2000 degrees per second range, and a plus-minus 49Gauss magnetometer. It delivers highly accurate navigation data, achieving a typical roll and pitch accuracy of 0.1 degrees and an angular resolution of 0.01 degrees.
