Waveshare SIM7670G LTE Cat-1 and GNSS HAT for Raspberry Pi

The Waveshare SIM7670G LTE Cat-1 and GNSS HAT brings global cellular data communication and multi-constellation satellite positioning to your Raspberry Pi projects. It offers uplink speeds up to 5Mbps and downlink speeds up to 10Mbps alongside an integrated 3-port USB 2.0 hub. This expansion board is ideal for makers, students, and engineers developing connected IoT solutions and remote tracking systems.

Global cellular and satellite tracking

Equipped with the SIM7670G module, this HAT supports global multi-band LTE-TDD and LTE-FDD communication. It also features integrated GNSS positioning compatible with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations.

Host interfaces and USB hub

The board plugs directly into standard 40-pin Raspberry Pi GPIO headers and includes onboard USB Type-A and Type-C interfaces for AT command testing and communication. It extends three additional USB 2.0 Type-A ports to connect further peripherals to the host device.

Protocols and OS compatibility

The HAT supports major network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP(s), MQTT(s), FTP(s), and SSL, with RNDIS, NDIS, and ECM dial-up support. It works across Windows and Linux operating systems with AT command compatibility aligned with the SIM800 series.

Onboard features and breakout pads

A standard SIM slot accepts 1.8V and 3V SIM cards, while six LED indicators provide immediate feedback on operating and USB connection status. Reserved UART and USB breakout pads also allow straightforward connection to other host development boards like STM32 and Jetson Nano.
