Description
The Waveshare Pico-Audio is a stereo audio expansion module designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico series. Incorporating a low-power PCM5101A decoder using the I2S bus, it allows concurrent audio output to both headphones and dual speakers. It is well-suited for makers, students, and educators adding high-quality audio playback or sound synthesis to microcontroller projects.
Dual concurrent audio outputs
Equipped with a standard 3.5mm audio jack for external headphones and dedicated dual-channel speaker headers to directly drive speakers at up to 2.6W per channel.
High-quality stereo decoding
Integrates the PCM5101A DAC with 106 dB SNR, supporting sampling rates from 8 Hz up to 384000 Hz over a 3-wire I2S bus that helps reduce electromagnetic interference.
Seamless Pico integration
Designed with standard female headers to easily mount Raspberry Pi Pico series boards, operating on 5V supply with 3.3V logic levels.
