Description
The SparkFun Black Raspberry Pi Enclosure provides robust physical protection for your board against rogue wires and accidental short circuits. Its two-piece snap-fit design makes assembly effortless while ensuring full accessibility to all key headers and ports. It is an ideal protective housing for student workstations, classroom setups, and maker projects.
Protective snap-together construction
This opaque black plastic enclosure snaps together around the board without needing additional hardware. It protects sensitive components from accidental contact while giving your project a clean, unified appearance.
Unrestricted port and pin access
Moulded cutouts provide direct access to the peripheral header, USB ports, Ethernet, SD card, HDMI, composite video, audio, CSI, and JTAG connectors. Embedded light pipes also ensure status LEDs remain visible at all times.
Cooling and wall mounting
Moulded feet and dedicated vents ensure proper ventilation to keep the board running cool. The base also features plus-shaped wall-mounting slots for easy installation onto vertical surfaces.
