Metal DC Geared Motor w/Encoder - 6V 100RPM 6.5Kg.cm

This 6V DC motor features an integrated quadrature Hall encoder and a 75:1 all-metal gearbox for reliable speed and position feedback. Delivering up to 6.5 kg.cm of stall torque at a no-load speed of 100 RPM, it is well suited for students, hobbyists, and makers building tracked or wheeled mobile robot platforms.

High-resolution quadrature encoder

The integrated Hall-effect encoder operates at 3.3V or 5V and provides 11 counts per revolution at the motor shaft. Coupled with the 74.83:1 precision reduction ratio, this delivers 823.1 pulses per revolution at the output shaft for accurate closed-loop control.

Durable 75:1 metal gearbox

The robust metal gearbox provides a 75:1 reduction ratio, achieving a no-load speed of 100 RPM and a stall torque of 6.5 kg.cm at 6V. At its maximum efficiency point, it delivers 1.0 kg.cm of load at 80 RPM while drawing 0.5A.

Standard D-shaft and compact frame

The unit measures 54 mm in length by 24.4 mm in diameter and weighs 96 g. It features a 10 mm long, 4 mm diameter D-shaped output shaft designed to prevent slippage on attached wheels or couplers.

Flexible low-voltage operation

While rated for optimal performance at 6V with a 3.0A stall current, the motor can begin rotating at voltages as low as 1V. It reaches its maximum power point of 2.8W under a 3.0 kg.cm load at 55 RPM.

Included connection cable

Each motor comes supplied with a matching JST 6-pin cable to easily connect both motor power lines and encoder signals to your microcontroller or motor driver.
