Description
The M0601 is a direct-drive hub motor combining a brushless motor, FOC servo driver, and high-resolution encoder within a compact 102mm wheel. Delivering 2.0 N·m of stall torque with RS485 communication, it is engineered for AGVs, AMRs, service robots, and mobile research platforms. This right-hand orientation model ensures proper tyre tread alignment and neat cable routing on the right side of your robot chassis.
Compact all-in-one wheel integration
The 102mm diameter hub housing integrates the brushless DC motor, servo driver, and encoder into a single plug-and-play assembly. This eliminates external motor drivers and bulky cabling, freeing up critical internal chassis space.
Precision triple-loop FOC control
Driven by advanced Field Oriented Control algorithms and a 4096-line encoder, the unit provides triple-loop closed control across torque, speed, and position. This delivers smooth low-speed motion alongside high-resolution feedback for navigation and autonomous positioning.

High torque density performance
Operating at 18 VDC, the direct-drive motor delivers a rated torque of 0.96 N·m at 115 rpm and a peak stall torque of 2.0 N·m. This provides rapid start-stop response and the necessary force for negotiating obstacles under varying payload conditions.

Ultra-quiet low-noise operation
Designed for noise-sensitive indoor environments such as hospitals and service venues, the motor runs at sound levels below 50 dB. Its direct-drive design removes mechanical gearbox noise for smooth, quiet locomotion.

Industrial protection and safety monitoring
Featuring an IP54 rating against dust and water ingress, the motor is built for dependable operation between -20°C and 45°C. The RS485 interface allows real-time telemetry of current and temperature, triggering built-in protections against stalls, over-temperature, and over-current events.

Chassis dimensions and right-hand mounting
This right-orientation version is configured specifically for mounting on the right side of the chassis, aligning the tyre traction pattern and cable exit direction correctly. The complete assembly measures 102mm in outer wheel diameter.
