Description
The M0601 is an integrated direct-drive hub motor combining a brushless motor, FOC servo driver, and high-resolution encoder in a single 102mm wheel. Engineered for left-side chassis installation on AGVs, AMRs, and autonomous service robots, it delivers plug-and-play mobility for robotics engineers, makers, and students.
Compact all-in-one drive system
By housing the brushless DC motor, servo driver, and optical encoder inside a 102mm hub, the M0601 eliminates the need for external motor drivers and messy cabling. This integrated design saves chassis volume and accelerates mechanical assembly.
Triple-loop FOC motion control
Advanced Field Oriented Control algorithms paired with a 4096-line encoder deliver triple-loop closed control over torque, speed, and position. This architecture ensures smooth low-speed performance and high-resolution feedback for autonomous navigation.

High torque density and dynamic response
Operating on 18 VDC, the hub delivers a rated torque of 0.96 N·m at 115 rpm alongside a 2.0 N·m stall torque. This gives mobile robots agile acceleration and reliable power to traverse obstacles under varying payloads.

Quiet operation below 50 dB
Engineered for indoor and noise-sensitive mobile platforms, the direct-drive hub maintains operating acoustic levels under 50 dB. The brushless direct-drive design removes noisy gearbox mechanisms entirely.

Rugged protection and telemetry
With an IP54 dust and moisture rating, the motor operates reliably in demanding environments between -20°C and 45°C. Built-in RS485 communication provides real-time telemetry alongside automatic safeguards against over-current, over-temperature, and stall conditions.

Chassis dimensions and mechanical profile
The hub features a 102mm outer diameter tyre suited for compact logistics platforms and mobile research bases. It achieves a no-load speed of 200 rpm with a low no-load current of 0.25 A.

Left-side mounting orientation
This model is dedicated to the left side of the chassis to ensure correct tyre traction orientation and tidy cable routing. Please verify your robot chassis layout and cable exit requirements prior to installation.
