Description
The Hiwonder miniAuto is an entry-level AI vision robot car designed for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to explore robotics and coding. Powered by an Arduino UNO R3 compatible controller and an ESP32-S3 WiFi vision module, this versatile platform supports omnidirectional movement and easy sensor expansion. It is the ideal hands-on tool for learning Arduino programming, line following, and wireless control.
Arduino compatible control system
The main control unit is fully compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 and can be programmed directly using the official Arduino IDE. The integrated expansion board supports four-channel motor control and includes reserved ports for adding extra sensors and modules.

Omnidirectional mecanum wheels
Equipped with 360-degree Mecanum wheels, the robot can move in any direction and execute complex motion modes. This allows the chassis to navigate tight spaces and adapt easily to challenging routes.

Advanced AI vision module
The robot features an ESP32-S3 WiFi vision module alongside a suite of high-performance hardware for interactive projects. This setup allows users to explore machine vision, wireless streaming, and smart navigation.

Glowy ultrasonic distance sensor
The integrated ultrasonic sensor measures distance to obstacles and provides real-time feedback using customisable coloured lights. This helps students easily visualise sensor data during obstacle avoidance projects.

Four-channel line follower
Four onboard infrared sensors accurately detect line changes for precise path tracking. This multi-channel design offers superior reliability compared to standard dual-sensor line followers.

Bluetooth app control
A built-in Bluetooth 4.0 module allows the robot car to connect seamlessly to a mobile application. Users can control movements and trigger custom actions directly from their smartphone or tablet.

Wireless glove gesture control
The system supports real-time control via an optional wireless glove equipped with an IMU sensor that detects wrist rotations. Users can programme custom gesture settings to control the robot's movements wirelessly.
