Gravity: DSS-P05 Tilt / Pan Kit (4.5kg)

The Gravity: DSS-P05 Tilt / Pan Kit is a two-degree-of-freedom robotic gimbal designed for horizontal surface mounting. Delivering up to 4.5 kg/cm of torque, it is ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building camera tracking rigs, automated sensor turrets, or interactive robotics projects.

Two-axis motion for sensors and cameras

The gimbal executes independent pan and tilt movements in both horizontal and vertical directions. This dual-axis motion allows mobile robots to orient cameras for visual tracking or sweep ultrasonic and infrared sensors for obstacle detection.

High-torque DSS-P05 standard servos

Powered by two upgraded DSS-P05 servos, the kit provides 3.5 kg/cm of torque at 4.8V and 4.5 kg/cm at 6.0V. It achieves no-load operating speeds of 0.14 s/60° at 4.8V and 0.12 s/60° at 6.0V with low idle power draw.

Standard three-wire controller wiring

The servos interface readily with Arduino microcontrollers and standard robotic expansion boards. The wiring convention uses brown for power negative, red for power positive, and yellow for the control signal.

Durable aluminium structural brackets

The assembly utilises aluminium multi-function and U-shaped brackets reinforced by a bearing cup for structural stability. Due to the mechanical constraints of the bracket assembly, the mechanism does not support full 360-degree vertical rotation.

Complete mounting hardware included

The kit includes two DSS-P05 servos, an aluminium multifunction bracket, an aluminium U-shape bracket, a bearing cup, and a complete set of mounting screws and nuts.
