Description
The GoGoPi is an advanced AI vision robotic vehicle kit powered by the Raspberry Pi 5, designed for students, educators, and hobbyists. Equipped with a 2-DOF pan-tilt HD camera and an RGB glowing ultrasonic sensor, this open-source platform offers an engaging way to learn Python programming and computer vision. It provides a versatile foundation for exploring intelligent robotics through hands-on projects and real-time interactions.
Intelligent colour tracking
Through OpenCV, the GoGoPi can intelligently track a target colour set in the mobile app. The vehicle follows the target while lighting up its onboard LEDs in the corresponding colour.

Smart obstacle avoidance
Equipped with a glowing ultrasonic sensor, the GoGoPi can detect and smartly avoid obstacles. The glowing colour of the sensor can be adjusted directly through the app.

Interactive finger recognition
The GoGoPi can identify the number of fingers shown via OpenCV to interact with the user. It can be programmed to respond by honking, turning, or changing its light colour.

Real-time FPV remote control
The GoGoPi supports remote control via a dedicated mobile app. The HD camera returns a first-person view image to the app, making remote operation highly realistic.

Flexible face tracking
Combining OpenCV with its pan-tilt system, the GoGoPi can detect and track human faces. Users can switch between pan-tilt mode and car tracking mode via the app, utilising a 130-degree vertical view and 180-degree rotation.

Sensor expansion interfaces
Three IIC and two GPIO interfaces are provided for various sensor expansions. This allows users to add extra hardware and give the GoGoPi more perception functions.

Android and iOS app control
The GoGoPi supports remote control from both Android and iOS smartphones. This allows users to conveniently launch and play AI vision games directly through the app.

Annotated Python code
Python codes for the AI vision games are completely open source and include annotations. This makes the platform highly convenient for learning artificial intelligence and programming.
