DF Metal Geared 15Kg Standard Servo 270° (DSS-M15S)

The DSS-M15S is a heavy-duty standard servo featuring durable metal gears and an expanded 270-degree operating range. Delivering up to 17 kg.cm of torque, it is an ideal actuator for robotics builders, makers, and engineering students needing high strength and reliable motion control.

Extended 270-degree motion range

This servo provides an expansive 270-degree rotational angle, making it well suited for robotic arms, pan-tilt systems, and steering linkages. It responds to standard RC PWM signals with a pulse range of 500 to 2500 microseconds at frequencies between 50 and 330 Hz.

Durable metal gear construction

Built with hard-wearing metal gears and a 275:1 reduction ratio, the DSS-M15S is engineered for high-load durability and reduced vibration. It delivers strong holding power and reliable output across demanding mechanical applications.

High torque and electrical performance

Operating on 4.8V to 6.8V, the unit outputs 15 kg.cm of torque at 5.0V and reaches 17 kg.cm at 6.8V. Operating speed ranges from 0.16 seconds per 60 degrees at 5.0V to 0.14 seconds per 60 degrees at 6.8V, with a maximum stall current of 2.0A.

Comprehensive horn and hardware kit

The servo comes with an aluminium alloy round wheel horn, an X-shaped horn, a straight horn, and a long straight horn. Essential mounting hardware is also included, comprising five M2x8 self-tapping screws, five M2 washers, and an M3x6 machine screw.
