9g 300° Clutch Servo

The 9g 300° Clutch Servo is a compact, resilient micro actuator designed for educational robotics, custom animatronics, and maker projects. It combines an extended rotation range with dual physical and electronic overload protection to safeguard the motor during demanding operations.

Clutch protection and auto-reset

An integrated clutch allows the servo to absorb unexpected external forces and automatically reset to its target position without stripping internal gears.

Electronic stall cutoff

If the servo output is blocked or overloaded for more than 5 seconds, the built-in protection circuitry cuts power automatically to prevent coil burnout.

Extended 300-degree rotation

Controlled via standard 500 to 2500μs PWM signals using standard Arduino servo libraries, this actuator delivers a wide 300° (±10°) operational sweep. Without hard mechanical end-stops, the horn can also be smoothly rotated 360 degrees by hand.

Power and torque performance

Operating at 4.8V to 6.0V DC, the motor delivers up to 1.2 kgf·cm of stall torque at 6.0V with a peak current draw of 650mA. Its efficient power profile makes it suitable for powering directly from standard battery packs or regulated USB sources.

Each unit ships with one 9g 300° clutch servo alongside a set of compatible servo horns, mounting plates, and installation accessories.
