Description
The 2Kg 180° Clutch Servo is a resilient positional actuator designed for educational robotics, model building, and maker projects. Featuring built-in mechanical clutch action and electronic overload protection, it prevents gear stripping and motor burnout in demanding applications.
Clutch and electronic stall protection
If forced out of position by an external load during operation, the integrated clutch mechanism allows the servo to slip and automatically reset without gear damage. To prevent burnout, electronic protection circuitry automatically turns off power if the motor remains blocked for 5 seconds.
Internal structure and manual rotation
The internal gearing is built without hard physical limit switches, allowing smooth 360-degree rotation when turned by hand. This design simplifies assembly and prevents mechanical failure during manual adjustments.

Torque and power specifications
Operating across a 4.8V to 6.0V DC range, the servo produces a stall torque exceeding 2.0 kgf·cm at 6.0V (1.6 kgf·cm at 4.8V). It draws minimal power with a static current under 8mA and can run directly from standard batteries or USB power supplies.
Arduino compatibility and control range
The servo uses standard PWM communication across a 500 to 2500 µs pulse width range, delivering an operating angle of 180° (±10°). It is fully compatible with standard servo libraries in the Arduino IDE for quick integration.
Mechanical dimensions and mounting
Its compact form factor allows straightforward installation into custom chassis and mechanical linkages. Mounting points accommodate standard robotics hardware.
