Description
The 2-DOF Pan-Tilt HAT for Raspberry Pi is an expansion board designed to add dual-axis motion and light sensing to your projects. It is perfect for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to build smart camera mounts, tracking systems, or interactive robotic projects.
Dual-axis motion control
This HAT provides two degrees of freedom, allowing your Raspberry Pi to control both pan and tilt movements. It is ideal for projects involving camera movement, tracking, or directional sensors.

Raspberry Pi HAT form factor
Designed to plug directly onto the Raspberry Pi GPIO header, this HAT fits neatly on top of your single-board computer. It provides a compact and secure hardware integration without messy wiring.

Onboard light intensity sensing
The board includes an ambient light sensor to detect surrounding light levels. This enables smart tracking applications, such as positioning the pan-tilt mechanism towards the brightest light source.

Efficient I2C interface control
By utilising the I2C interface for communication, the HAT minimises the number of pins required from your Raspberry Pi. This leaves the remaining GPIO pins free for other sensors and expansion modules.

Smooth servo integration
The pan-tilt mechanism is driven by servos that connect directly to the HAT, allowing for precise angular positioning. This makes it highly suitable for custom robotics, pan-tilt cameras, and face-tracking projects.
