RFduino RFD22301 Bluetooth 4.0 LE SMT Module with ARM Cortex-M0

The RFduino RFD22301 is a fingertip-sized SMT wireless microcontroller module featuring Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and an integrated ARM Cortex-M0 processor. It runs Arduino sketches directly and connects seamlessly with iOS and Android devices, making it an ideal choice for makers and engineers building compact connected projects. Arduino compatibility and processing

Powered by a 16MHz ARM Cortex-M0 core with 128kB flash and 8kB RAM, this module executes Arduino code directly on professional-grade hardware. It provides ADC, I2C, SPI, GPIO, and UART interfaces to support rapid development and versatile hardware integration.

Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity

Operating on the 2.4GHz band with a built-in chip antenna and RF shielding, the module delivers reliable wireless communication with smartphones and tablets. It is highly energy-efficient, drawing 18mA during transmission and reception and dropping to 4uA in ultra-low power mode.

Programming and integration

The module is designed for surface-mount assembly with a 19-pin layout and compact 15mm by 15mm dimensions. Note that loading sketches via the Arduino IDE requires the separate RFD22121 USB shield programmer.
