Description
The RYLR998 is an ultra-long-range LoRa transceiver module pair operating on the 868/915 MHz ISM band. Featuring a built-in antenna and standard UART interface with AT command support, it provides reliable wireless data communication over distances up to 10 km. It is ideal for makers, students, and developers building low-power Internet of Things telemetry and remote monitoring projects.
Long-range wireless communication
Powered by a Semtech LoRa engine and Nuvoton MCU, this transceiver achieves a line-of-sight communication range of up to 10 km under ideal conditions. It offers high interference immunity, exceptional blocking immunity, and a receiver sensitivity of -129 dBm for robust data transmission.
Simple UART interface and control
The module communicates via serial UART with data rates up to 115200 bps and is easily configured using standard AT commands. This makes it straightforward to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi.
Low-power battery-friendly operation
Operating across a 2.3V to 3.6V supply range, the module draws approximately 17.5 mA in receive mode and as little as 10 µA in sleep mode. This ultra-low current consumption makes it well suited for remote battery-powered sensor nodes and custom telemetry stations.
Typical applications
The transceiver pair is suitable for smart agriculture, remote environmental monitoring, weather station telemetry, home security, and industrial automation where cellular connectivity is unavailable or unnecessary.
