Description
The Replacement Motor Kit for Maqueen V5 STEM Robot is an official replacement assembly designed to restore jammed or damaged drive units on the Maqueen V5 platform. Suitable for educators, students, and makers, it enables fast robot maintenance in classrooms and workshops without the need for soldering.
Solderless plug-and-play installation
The motor comes pre-fitted with a PCB and 2P 2.54mm straight pin headers for swift repairs. Users can swap out the damaged motor and plug the replacement directly into the robot chassis without soldering.
Geared N20 motor performance
Operating at a rated 3V DC, the N20 metal gear motor features a 1:110 mechanical reduction ratio that steps a 10,000 RPM motor down to an output shaft speed of 90 RPM. It operates in a counterclockwise direction when viewed from the shaft end to match original Maqueen V5 specifications.
Mounting bracket and cushioning pad
Each kit includes an ABS motor mount and two M2x8 cross-recessed pan head combination screws for secure attachment. A 20mm by 15mm by 5mm single-sided adhesive polyurethane sponge pad is supplied to cushion the battery box.
Single-motor replacement contents
Each pack provides one N20 motor, one mounting bracket, two screws, and one foam pad to repair a single wheel drive. Two separate kits are required if both drive motors on your robot need replacement.
