Constructed from a single piece of matte black metal, the enclosure protects the RDK X5 against physical impacts, dust, and accidental contact. Its rigid structure prevents PCB flex and secures the board with four screws for reliable assembly.

An included thermal silicone pad establishes direct contact between the main processor and the metal chassis. This transforms the entire enclosure into a passive heatsink, preventing thermal throttling during intensive computing tasks.

Precision cutouts and easy installation

Accurate cutouts provide unobstructed access to all ports and antenna connectors without degrading signal performance. The case mounts easily using the supplied M2.5 cross-head screws for rapid setup and maintenance.
