Description
The Python Starter Kit for UNIHIKER M10 is an expansion suite designed to teach physical computing, artificial intelligence, and IoT system development. Featuring over 16 sensors, vision and audio peripherals, and actuators using a plug-and-play Gravity interface, it is ideal for students, makers, and educators. Note that the UNIHIKER M10 single-board computer is required for operation and is sold separately.
Standardised Gravity interface hardware
All electronic modules connect directly using standard 3-pin and 4-pin PH2.0 Gravity cables, eliminating the need for breadboards or soldering. Components can be easily swapped or daisy-chained to prototype interactive circuits quickly.

Progressive 15-lesson structured curriculum
A guided 15-project curriculum takes learners from basic component testing to advanced logic implementation. Step-by-step tutorials explain Python programming while building devices like human-sensing billboards and mood ambience lights.

Turnkey vision and audio integration
A dedicated USB camera and speaker module enable machine vision, voice synthesis, and interactive audio projects. Combined with the UNIHIKER, these peripherals facilitate facial recognition security systems, colour-tracking robots, and voice-controlled devices.

Comprehensive sensor and actuator array
The kit includes DHT11 temperature and humidity, TCS34725 colour, PIR motion, soil moisture, and URM09 ultrasonic sensors. Physical outputs include a 12-LED WS2812 RGB ring, a 9g metal-gear servo, a digital relay, a blue LED push button, and a DC water pump.
Dual-mode visual and Python coding
Learners can program hardware using Mind+ for block-based visual coding or switch to standard Python scripting for advanced software development. This dual compatibility accommodates beginners while providing a clear pathway to text-based coding.
Complete accessories and power supply
The set includes a 4xAA battery holder with a DC2.1 plug, dual-use Type-C and micro USB cables, and six silicone twisted connection cables. All components are packed in a dedicated plastic storage box measuring 168mm by 165mm by 75mm.
