Description
The PICAXE BOT120 20X2 Microbot is an economical programmable robot kit designed as an accessible introduction to the world of robotics. Featuring built-in motors, LEDs and a piezo sounder, it allows learners, educators and makers to easily customise their build with additional sensors and modules. Its solderless construction ensures quick assembly and reconfiguration straight out of the box.
Solderless modular assembly
The Microbot chassis uses patented Microbric connector technology, allowing components to be assembled and adjusted using only the supplied Allen key. Because no soldering is required, learners can quickly assemble the chassis, insert batteries and start running their programs.
On-board outputs and expansion
The robot includes an on-board motor and gearbox, LED indicators and a piezo output for audio feedback. The system is designed to be fully customised, offering the capacity to connect different input sensors and output devices.
Software compatibility
The PICAXE Microbot works with any software application that supports PICAXE hardware. This includes the free PICAXE Programming Editor as well as Logicator for PIC Micros software.
