Description
The PICAXE AXE118 20-Pin Project Board Kit is a self-assembly board designed for rapid prototyping of PICAXE-20M2 and PICAXE-20X2 circuits. It features an integrated Darlington driver to power output components directly, making it an excellent platform for students, educators, and makers. Compatible PICAXE microcontrollers are available separately.
Rapid circuit prototyping
This self-assembly board is engineered for quick and straightforward prototyping with 20-pin PICAXE microcontrollers. The kit is supplied with all essential PCB components, including IC and download sockets.
High-power output driver
The board comes with a ULN2803A Darlington driver buffer chip that supports output currents up to 500mA. This allows you to connect and control higher-power devices such as motors, relays, and solenoids directly from the board.
Software compatibility
The project board can be used with any software application that supports PICAXE hardware. This includes the free PICAXE Programming Editor and Logicator for PIC Micros.
Kit contents and requirements
The kit includes the PCB, essential components, download socket, IC sockets, and the ULN2803A driver IC. A PICAXE-20M2 or PICAXE-20X2 microcontroller must be purchased separately.
