Ready for 28-pin microcontrollers

The board includes all necessary components required to run any 28-line PICAXE microcontroller. Integrated IC sockets allow microcontrollers and optional driver chips to be fitted or swapped with ease.

High-power output buffering

An on-board Darlington driver buffer chip enables you to connect higher-power devices directly to the board with output currents up to 500 mA. This provides straightforward control over motors, solenoids, and relays without requiring extra interface circuitry.

Modular upgrade capabilities

The project board can be expanded using an L293D motor driver, an infrared upgrade pack, or a servo upgrade pack. When fully configured, it can simultaneously control two motors and four servos while leaving eight digital input/output pins and four analogue inputs available.
