The PICAXE-18M2 Starter Pack is a comprehensive entry-level bundle featuring a pre-assembled standard project board and microcontroller. Pre-assembled project board

The supplied CHI030A standard project board comes fully assembled and is ready for use with all PICAXE-18M2 analogue and digital inputs and outputs. It includes an IC socket for effortless microcontroller replacement and can also be modified for use with older PICAXE-18 series chips.

High-power output buffering

An on-board Darlington driver buffer chip enables direct connection to higher-power loads such as motors, solenoids, and relays. This driver supports output currents of up to 500mA.

Software and connectivity

The board accommodates direct soldered wire connections or optional screw terminal blocks. It is compatible with software applications that support PICAXE hardware, including the free PICAXE Programming Editor and Logicator for PIC Micros.
