N20 ABS Rubber Wheel 43x9mm (Pair)

This pair of 43x9mm ABS rubber wheels is designed to fit mini metal gear motors such as standard N20 units and Solarbotics motors. Equipped with integrated hub teeth for encoder feedback, they are ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building compact mobile robots.

Dimensions and durable construction

Each wheel measures 43mm (1.69 inches) in diameter, 9mm in width, and weighs 14g. The assembly combines a sturdy ABS hub with a rubber tyre for dependable traction on flat surfaces.

Integrated encoder feedback teeth

Protruding teeth molded into the hub allow an optional reflectance sensor to be used alongside the wheel. This enables precise rotation tracking and speed feedback for your robot.

Mini metal gear motor mounting

Standard N20 mini metal gear motors should be mounted onto the hub side with the protruding teeth. The motor shaft enters easily at first and locks into a snug fit as it is pressed through to the opposite edge.

Solarbotics motor compatibility

Solarbotics metal gear motors are also compatible with these wheels. Because their output shafts are shorter, they must be inserted into the reverse side of the wheel where the socket fit is tighter.

Mounting bracket compatibility

These wheels are engineered to work with the Micro Metal Gearmotor Bracket Extended. Standard non-extended mounting brackets will not clear the wheel properly.
