Comprehensive STEAM robotics package

This complete bundle includes the micro:Maqueen Plus V2 chassis, an official micro:bit V2 board, and the multi-part Maqueen Mechanic kit. The mechanic set allows users to assemble forklift, push, beetle, and loader configurations for classroom challenges and robotics competitions.

Rechargeable 18650 battery management

The vehicle is powered by a single 3.6V or 3.7V 18650 lithium battery (available separately) and features an onboard charging circuit. Charging is easily managed via Type-C or Micro-USB interfaces, completing a full charge in approximately four hours.

Five-channel line tracking and sensing

Equipped with five line-tracking sensors with one-key calibration, the platform makes path navigation and code optimisation straightforward. Obstacle detection is driven by a plug-in SR04 ultrasonic sensor alongside an integrated infrared receiver.

Broad expansion and AI compatibility

The chassis breaks out numerous ports, including three 5V IO pins, seven 3.3V IO pins, two 3.3V I2C ports, and one 5V I2C port. This extensive connectivity allows straightforward plug-and-play addition of external hardware such as the HuskyLens AI camera.

Onboard feedback and drive system

Dual N20 all-metal gear motors deliver steady, smooth driving performance. For visual and acoustic feedback, the robot features two large front LED headlights, four under-chassis RGB ambient lights, and an onboard buzzer.

Robust build and storage container

A frosted acrylic bottom plate protects the underlying circuitry, while pre-mounted motors and wheels reduce initial setup time to minutes. The included plastic storage case features a deeper base designed to safely store the fully assembled robot.
