Description
The micro:Maqueen Plus V2 (18650 Battery) with micro:Maqueen Mechanic is an advanced micro:bit-powered STEAM robotic platform designed for primary and secondary classrooms, coding clubs, and robotics competitions. Combining rich onboard peripherals with a 4-in-1 mechanical expansion kit, it provides an accessible and flexible system for learning graphical and text-based coding. It supports both micro:bit V1 and V2 boards.
Four mechanical add-on configurations
The included Maqueen Mechanic kit provides brackets, plates, and two 9g servos to construct Forklift, Push, Beetle, and Loader setups. Motors, wheels, support wheel, and battery panels come pre-assembled on the vehicle body for rapid classroom deployment.

Calibrated five-point line tracking
The vehicle base features five line-tracking sensors equipped with one-key calibration for fast and dependable track configuration. This updated layout optimizes navigation and simplifies line-tracking code logic.
Rechargeable 18650 battery power
Powered by a single 3.6V or 3.7V 18650 lithium battery, the platform includes an integrated onboard charging circuit. Users can recharge the battery in approximately four hours via standard MicroUSB or Type-C ports.
Comprehensive IO and sensor expansion
The robot features seven 3.3V IO ports, three 5V IO ports, two 3.3V I2C ports, and a 5V I2C port, ensuring full compatibility with peripherals such as the HuskyLens AI camera. Onboard hardware includes an SR04 ultrasonic module, dual front LED lights, four RGB ambient lights, a buzzer, and an IR receiver.
Reinforced chassis and deep storage case
A frosted acrylic plate covers the base to protect the underside circuitry and sensors during everyday use. The supplied plastic storage box is designed with extra depth to store and transport the car while fully assembled.
