micro:Maqueen Mechanic - Loader

The micro:Maqueen Mechanic - Loader is an expansion kit that converts your Maqueen robot into a functional mechanical loader. Ideal for students, educators, and makers, it provides an engaging, hands-on way to explore robotics and mechanical engineering concepts.

Mechanical loader conversion

This add-on pack includes all necessary mechanical hardware to turn a compatible Maqueen car into a controllable shovel loader. It offers practical assembly experience and demonstrates core principles of linkage and motion.

Durable aluminium alloy construction

The shovel bucket and mounting bracket are crafted from aluminium alloy treated with a sand-blasting oxidation finish. This metal construction ensures solid structural integrity and resilience during classroom or hobby use.

Metal gear servo control

A high-durability 9g metal gear servo provides a 0 to 180 degree rotation range for precise lifting and scooping actions. It plugs directly into standard servo control ports, such as S1, S2, or S3 on the Maqueen Plus.

Maqueen platform compatibility

The kit supports micro:Maqueen 4.0 and later versions, as well as the Maqueen Plus chassis. Please note that the micro:bit board, base Maqueen vehicle, and batteries are not included.

Included assembly components

Each kit ships with one metal shovel, one metal servo mounting plate, one 9g metal gear servo, two M3 by 15mm copper pillars, five M2.5 by 5mm screws, and eight M3 by 5mm screws.
