The micro: Maqueen Lite bundle is an all-in-one educational robotics kit built around the BBC micro:bit V2. Designed for students aged eight and up, educators, and hobbyists, this comprehensive set includes mechanical add-ons, a gamepad controller, protective skin, and a line-tracking map for hands-on STEAM learning.

Comprehensive STEAM learning kit

This set includes the Maqueen Lite robot chassis, a micro:bit V2 board, a blue skin pack, a 2-in-1 USB cable, and a track map. Please note that batteries are not included and must be sourced separately.

Broad programming software support

Maqueen Lite supports MakeCode graphical blocks as well as DFRobot Mind+, enabling learners to progress from drag-and-drop coding to Python. Its plug-and-play design allows beginners to quickly grasp programming logic and robotics concepts.

Versatile mechanical add-ons

The included Mechanic kit provides parts to build four functional configurations: Forklift, Push, Beetle, and Loader. These attachments mount securely using the chassis's integrated M3 extension screw holes.

Precision all-metal gear motors

Driven by twin N20 all-metal miniature gear motors with PWM control, the robot delivers strong driving force and smooth movement. Customised POM bearing wheels ensure reliable traction and obstacle navigation.

Integrated sensors and peripherals

The chassis features two infrared line-tracking sensors, an IR receiver, two front LEDs, four RGB ambient lights, a buzzer, and an ultrasonic sensor interface. Additional expansion is available via three Gravity ports and an I2C interface.

Wireless gamepad controller included

The included micro:GamePad allows users to control Maqueen Lite wirelessly over radio. It pairs directly with the micro:bit V2 to create interactive driving and gaming projects.
